Some wonderful news today for fans of Danny McBride’s comedy series ‘The Righteous Gemstones’ as HBO has now officially renewed the series for season 3.

The renewal for season 3 of ‘The Righteous Gemstones‘ arrives just weeks after season 2 premiered on HBO. Regarding the renewal, Amy Gravitt, executive vice president, HBO Programming said “After a season of literal fire and brimstone, blood, sand, and rollerblading, who wouldn’t come back for more? The Gemstone family makes us laugh like nobody else.”

The second season of ‘The Righteous Gemstones’ is currently in the middle of airing its 9-episode second season, with new episodes released Sundays on HBO and HBO Max and the season finale set to air on February 27.

The second season’s cast includes Danny McBride (who also created and wrote the series), Adam Devine, Edi Patterson, John Goodman, Cassidy Freeman, Tony Cavalero, Tim Baltz, Skyler Gisondo, Greg Alan Williams, Walton Goggins, Jennifer Nettles, Jody Hill, Valyn Hall, Kelton DuMont, Gavin Munn, Jason Schwartzman, Eric Roberts, Eric Andre and Jessica Lowe.
