Some good news today for fans of ABC’s long-running series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ as the network has now officially renewed the series for Season 19.

The renewal for Season 19 of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ arrives accompanied by confirmation that the show’s lead star Ellen Pompeo has signed on to reprise her role of Meredith for another season prompting ABC to quickly renew the series for another run.

The medical drama is currently airing its eighteenth season on ABC but fans can now rest easy that this season won’t be its last.
