Welcome back to another new edition of our weekly ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20’ list posts where we keep you informed on all of the most popular movies and television shows watched at home every week, compiled and released by the Digital Entertainment Group like always.
This week’s new ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20’ list for September 23, 2021 (compiled of data for the week ended 09.18.21) sees the animated family sequel ‘The Boss Baby: Family Business’ jump into first place, up from its place at eighth last week, followed by ‘Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard‘ which holds steady in second for another week. ‘Karen’ also improves significantly, moving up from eleventh last week into third this week, while ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ slips to fourth and ‘F9: The Fast Saga‘ arrives on the list in fifth to round out the top five. ‘BOSS BABY’ SEQUEL SCAMPERS TO TOP OF
DEG ‘WATCHED AT HOME TOP 20’
Animated sequel The Boss Baby: Family Business scampers to the top of this week’s WAH list with Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard holding spot No. 2 for the second week in a row. New this week, The Suicide Squad joins the list at No. 18 and F9: The Fast Saga comes on at spot No. 5. In anticipation of its sequel release next week, Venom joins the list at No. 11. All three seasons of beloved series Yellowstone return to the list with Season 1 in spot No. 13, Season 3 at No. 16, and Season 2 at No. 19.
DEG compiles the ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list with the most widely consumed titles on disc and digital during the previous week (except for outside subscription-based streaming platforms). Assembled with the newest studio and retailer data every seven days, it showcases current consumer enthusiasm for home viewing of the newest film and television releases.
