HBO has officially renewed Mike White’s ‘The White Lotus’ for a second season which will feature a new locale and collection of characters.

News on the renewal of ‘The White Lotus’ which was created, written and directed by Mike White arrives just ahead of the debut season’s finale which is set to air this Sunday. Albeit serving as a 6-episode limited series, the renewal isn’t terribly surprising considering that the first season has achieved consistent week to week growth and currently ranks #1 among all series streaming on HBO Max.

The second season of the social satire will leave Hawaii behind and feature a new locale and collection of characters who check in to a different White Lotus property.
