[Blu-Ray Review] ‘Supernatural: The Fifteenth And Final Season’; Now Available On Blu-ray & DVD From Warner Bros 3

The fifteenth and final season of ‘Supernatural’ picks up immediately following the events of season 14, with God unleashing the souls of hell upon the earth after taking down Jack after finally reaching the end of his patience with Sam and Dean who refuse to blindly follow his intended storyline for them. As Chuck/God vanishes after Sam uses a specialized gun against him, the brothers must find a way to return the dangerous souls unleashed back to the depths of hell. But unfortunately, that task is only the beginning of their current to-do list as they try to track down Chuck and stop him once and for all after refusing to play by his rules and simply let him ruin their loves for his personal amusement. Though for a mission this big, the boys are going to need some help.

[Blu-Ray Review] ‘Supernatural: The Fifteenth And Final Season’; Now Available On Blu-ray & DVD From Warner Bros 4

After an impressive fifteen season run comprising over 300 episodes, the fan-favorite series ‘Supernatural’ finally comes to an end. With a series featuring so many substantial baddies and villains, it only seems fitting that the brothers would go up against the greatest force imaginable for their final fight and that’s precisely the way the fifteenth season is approached. Even while still including a handful of largely standalone episodes, they take more a backseat this year than usual as the final twenty episodes wisely use the majority of time to tackle the bigger story at play here and the various hurdles our favorite heroes are forced to endure and attempt to overcome in order to save the world yet again, this time from the one who created it.

Fans of ‘Supernatural’ that may have fallen a bit behind or simply haven’t had a chance to check out the final season are strongly encouraged to make a point of doing so whenever possible. It’s an altogether solid final ride for our favorite pair of monster hunting brothers that’s definitely well worth taking the time to check out, especially after we’ve already spent so much of our lives following their adventures. I’ve personally been watching the series since season one was airing and it’s almost hard to believe that it’s actually done. What a ride it was though, and one that I and many others will probably have a lot of fun revisiting over the years.
