This week’s new ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20 List’ for April 9, 2021 (compiled of data for the week ended 04.03.21) sees ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ jump into the top spot following its physical release, up all the way from sixth last week. Last week’s top 4 titles remain in the same order, merely each falling back one place behind ‘WW84’, with ‘News of the World’ in second, ‘The Croods: A New Age’ in third, ‘Monster Hunter’ in fourth and Disney-Pixar’s ‘Soul’ in fifth rounding out the top five. WONDER WOMAN 1984 CLAIMS THE TOP SPOT ON DEG’S “WATCHED AT HOME TOP 20”
Wonder Woman 1984 took the No. 1 spot on DEG’s “Watched at Home Top 20” chart for the week ending April 3, following its March 30 release on Blu-ray and DVD. News of the World, The Croods: A New Age, Monster Hunter, and Soul all held firm to round out the top 5 spots, respectively.
DEG compiles the ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list with the most widely consumed titles on disc and digital during the previous week (except for outside subscription-based streaming platforms). Assembled with the newest studio and retailer data every seven days, it showcases current consumer enthusiasm for home viewing of the newest film and television releases.
