This week’s new ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20 List’ for March 25, 2021 (compiled of data for the week ended 3.20.21) once more sees ‘The Croods: A New Age’ holding securely to the top spot, while ‘Monster Hunter’ once again claims second. The DC sequel ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ debuted on the list this week all the way in third following its digital release, while the Oscar nominated ‘Promising Young Woman’ moves up to fourth from its spot at tenth last week. Meanwhile the disaster flick ‘Greenland’ starring Gerard Butler fell from third to fifth this week to round out the top five. WONDER WOMAN 1984 CLAIMS THIRD PLACE IN DEG’S “WATCHED AT HOME TOP 20” DEBUT

Wonder Woman 1984 burst onto DEG’s “Watched at Home Top 20” chart at No. 3 after it became available for digital purchase March 16. It came in behind The Croods: A New Age and Monster Hunter, which occupied Nos. 1 and 2, respectively,  for a third consecutive week. In other notable activity, Promising Young Woman moved up six spots to No. 4, the kid-friendly PAW Patrol joined at No. 18, and The Office: Seasons 1-9 returned to the chart at No. 20.

DEG compiles the ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list with the most widely consumed titles on disc and digital during the previous week (except for outside subscription-based streaming platforms). Assembled with the newest studio and retailer data every seven days, it showcases current consumer enthusiasm for home viewing of the newest film and television releases.
