DEG Watched At Home Top 20 List For 12/17/20: Yellowstone: Season 3, Dr. Seuss' The Grinch 1Welcome back to another new edition of our weekly ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20 List’ posts where we continue to keep you informed on all of the most popular movies and television shows watched at home every week, always compiled and released by the Digital Entertainment Group.

The latest ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20 List’ for December 17, 2020 (compiled of data from the week ending on 12.12.20) sees ‘Yellowstone: Season 3’ once again claiming the top spot following its recent Blu-ray and DVD release, while last week’s first place release ‘The Lord of the Rings’ Trilogy falls to seventh. Meanwhile, the previous second place holder the ‘Harry Potter’ 8-movie collection drops to sixth as  ‘Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch’ takes second. ‘Elf’ continues to hold its place in third as does ‘National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation’ in fifth while last week’s fourth place title ‘Unhinged’ falls to eleventh and Season 1 of ‘Yellowstone’ moves up to take over fourth. THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT FLOWS THROUGH THE DEG’S “WATCHED AT HOME TOP 20” LIST

The holiday merriment of recent weeks continued in the DEG’s ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list, with eight of 10 slots filled by seasonal titles. Love Actually joined the chart at No. 19, as others climbed: Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch moved from No. 10 to No. 2; The Polar Express ran from No. 13 to No. 8; and A Christmas Story made the leap to No. 12 from No. 19. Yellowstone: Season 3 made a dash back up the list taking the No. 1 spot, up from No. 16 a week earlier, and Yellowstone: Season 1 moved up to No. 4 from No. 14. Fan-favorite Selena enters the chart at No. 17 after a boost from the Netflix series of the same name.

DEG compiles the ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list with the most widely consumed titles on disc and digital during the previous week (except for outside subscription-based streaming platforms). Assembled with the newest studio and retailer data every seven days, it showcases current consumer enthusiasm for home viewing of the newest film and television releases.
