This week on The DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group’s latest ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list, four new titles join the charts! Universal’s thriller You Should Have Left, starring Kevin Bacon replaces Scoob! at no. 2 on the list; IFC Films’ The Rental, about two couples on an unnerving weekend getaway (No. 8); Paramount’s Most Wanted, with Josh Hartnett as a journalist trying to expose a deadly frame-up (No. 10); and Warner Bros. Deep Blue Sea 3, a shark tale (No.11). Aside from the addition of You Should Have Left, the top titles remain stable with DreamWorks/Universal’s Trolls World Tour holding No. 1 and Paramount’s three seasons of Yellowstone rounding out the top 5 spots.
DEG compiles the ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list with the most widely consumed titles on disc and digital during the previous week (except for outside subscription-based streaming platforms). Assembled with the newest studio and retailer data every seven days, it showcases current consumer enthusiasm for home viewing of the newest film and television releases.
