Some huge news today from NBC who has given 3 season renewals to four of its shows; renewing ‘Law & Order: SVU’, plus the Chicago Trio (Chicago Fire, P.D. and Med) all for three additional seasons each.

The three season renewals from NBC mean that ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ has been renewed for seasons 22, 23 and 24, while ‘Chicago Fire’ has been renewed for seasons 9, 10 and 11, with spinoff ‘Chicago P.D.’ cleared for seasons 8, 9 and 10 and ‘Chicago Med’ renewed for seasons 6, 7 and 8.
