Some outstanding news today for fans of the police sitcom ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ as NBC has just renewed the series for an eighth season months ahead of the season seven debut.

After moving to its new home on NBC for season six, the network has continued to show real dedication to the series, and this surprisingly early renewal is another sign of just how much faith the peacock has in the sitcom.

The renewal for season 8 comes ahead of the season 7 debut on NBC which will return with a one-hour premiere on February 6, 2020.
