Some wonderful and somewhat unexpected news today for fans of ‘Atlanta’ as FX officially announced this morning that they have given an early fourth season renewal to the acclaimed Donald Glover created series, while also renewing drama series ‘Snowfall’ for a fourth season.

The early renewal for a fourth season of ‘Atlanta’ also comes with the news that the third and fourth seasons will shoot back to back; each reported to consist of eight episodes. Although still no word on when the third season is expected to premiere.

The renewal for a fourth season of ‘Snowfall’ comes in the middle of the show’s third season which is currently airing Friday’s on FX.
