Paramount Network has officially renewed their popular original series ‘Yellowstone’ for a third season ahead of tonight’s season two debut on the cable network.

Co-created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson with Sheridan serving as regular writer and director, ‘Yellowstone’ also features a talented cast led by Kevin Costner. While a third season renewal isn’t overly shocking, the news arriving before the sophomore season’s debut tonight is certainly a pleasant surprise for fans.

In addition to the news of the renewal, Deadline has also reported that Josh Holloway (Lost) will be joining the series in a recurring role for season three.
