CBS has officially confirmed today that they have renewed their ‘Big Bang Theory’ spinoff series ‘Young Sheldon’ for an additional two seasons, renewing the show through season 4.

With ‘The Big Bang Theory’ ending this year and ‘Young Sheldon’ continuing to pull in solid numbers for the network, the renewal for two additional seasons isn’t overly surprising, but should still make a welcome bit of news for fans.
