CBS announced today that they have officially renewed the acclaimed Chuck Lorre created sitcom ‘Mom’ for 2 additional seasons which will keep it on the air through (at least) Season 8.

The news of the renewal which was first reported by Deadline comes following the closure of a new deal with lead stars Anna Farris and Allison Janney. ‘Mom’ is currently midway through its sixth season with new episodes airing Thursdays at 9/8c on CBS.
