Synopsis:

Major life events take place on the third season of Fuller House. Steve and C.J. make plans to get married in Japan and the gang heads overseas for the big wedding, but before anyone has a chance to say “I do,” a big revelation has an impact on the nuptials. Plus, Stephanie makes plans to get in-vitro fertilization, D.J. tries to get Tommy into a prestigious preschool, and Fernando buys Kimmy’s childhood home and restores it to its former glory. Meanwhile, Jackson and Ramona start high school where Ramona tries out for her school’s dance team while Jackson becomes a joke at his school after slipping on a piece of bologna during lunch. Joey, Jesse and Danny come home to celebrate 30 years since they initially moved in together to raise the Tanner girls. It’s an unforgettable season filled with laughter and love for the Tanners and their friends on this beloved family comedy.

The door is always open, so gather up the whole family for another set of heartwarming and amusing misadventures with the Tanner-Fuller household and friends. The third season of ‘Fuller House’ sees DJ having finally made her choice, and possibly concluding the live triangle she’s found herself in since returning to the family home. Meanwhile, Jackson finds his summer shattered when his plans of couch vegetation turns to summer school, and as Stephanie and Kimmy’s brother start to get serious and the future is contemplated, new issues and questions arise, but their family and friends just may have a potential solution to even the most difficult problems. Add to that a family trip to Japan for a destination wedding that goes off the rails and it’s still only a small part of the heartwarming and hilariously chaotic fun season three of ‘Fuller House’ has to offer.

Season Three of ‘Fuller House’ welcomes you back into the Tanner-Fuller household for some more funny, moving and just downright clean cut family fun (something it feels like we don’t find often enough in sitcoms these days) as relationships evolve and the everyday struggles and challenges our favorite families find themselves in often echo reality to some degree or another; and always approached in a wholesome, lighthearted style that makes certain to keep things family friendly. So get ready for plenty of excitement, heartwarming fun and laughs that anyone who enjoys the show probably won’t want to miss out on. If you were at all a fan of the first two seasons but haven’t yet had the pleasure of season three, you’ll likely want to try and make a definite point of trying to rectify that whenever possible as the series only continues to improve each season and the third certainly doesn’t disappoint. Bringing plenty of big moments that fans are certain to appreciate and in many cases likely find themselves wanting to revisit down the road. Those already planning on picking up a copy of ‘Fuller House: The Complete Third Season’ on DVD but curious about the release’s technical merits shouldn’t be disappointed with the latest set if you were satisfied with the prior two season releases. This 2-disc set offers generally solid standard definition video presentations and multichannel soundtracks on all 18 episodes of the season and should please anyone that doesn’t mind the limitations of the DVD format in general.

Overall, the third season of ‘Fuller House’ brings fans another batch of fun and humorous misadventures, along with plenty of twists, turns and even a couple huge events that the whole family should have a great time with. Those who personally enjoy the show but haven’t yet been able to check out the third season will probably want to strongly consider doing so. Fans of the series who were content with the previous two season releases on DVD should have no issues whatsoever with the DVD release of ‘Fuller House: The Complete Third Season’ either which much like its predecessors doesn’t include any extras, but does deliver pretty solid video and audio presentations on all eighteen episodes of the show’s expanded third season in a 2-disc DVD set that will fit perfectly on your shelf next to the others.

VIDEO:

The DVD release of ‘Fuller House: The Complete Third Season’ features a 16×9 friendly video presentation utilizing the show’s original 1.78:1 Aspect Ratio on all of the third season’s episodes. The video presentations look pretty good for the most part, especially within the confines of the DVD format; providing relatively sharp and detailed presentations on every episode, with no noticeable issues or faults to be uncovered throughout. Overall, these are quite capable standard definition video presentations that should easily satisfy fans of the series that were pleased with the quality of the prior two seasons DVD releases.

AUDIO:

The DVD release includes a 384 Kbps 5.1 channel Dolby Digital soundtrack on all 18 Season Three episodes. These multichannel soundtracks deliver clean, crisp and smooth audio presentations on each episode. While the majority of the activity is definitely front and center for the series, it takes advantage of the surround aspect on various occasions when appropriate, sending bits of crowd chatter, nature effects, music and more throughout the various speakers when fitting, and never conflicting with any dialogue or other audio elements that might happen to be occurring simultaneously. Overall, these are solid 5.1 channel Dolby Digital soundtracks that may not be overly aggressive or extravagant, but definitely deliver in every way required of them.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

As is the typical pattern for the show’s home video releases, the DVD release of ‘Fuller House: The Complete Third Season’ doesn’t include any bonus content.
