Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment have unveiled the first teaser trailer and poster for the upcoming animated sequel ‘The Secret Life of Pets 2’ which both focus on Max the Dog. Continue after the jump to check out the first trailer and poster for the sequel.

Below you can watch the first Teaser Trailer (aka The MAX Trailer) for the movie which is followed by the first Teaser Poster. The follow-up of to the 2016 animated film will see the return of your favorite animal stars and most of the voice cast (although it appears the role of Max will now be voiced by Patton Oswalt instead of Louis CK). The film is directed by Chris Renaud and features a voice cast that includes Lake Bell, Hannibal Buress, Dana Carvey, Harrison Ford, Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Hart, Pete Holmes, Garth Jennings, Ellie Kemper, Nick Kroll, Bobby Moynihan, Patton Oswalt, Jenny Slate and Eric Stonestreet.

‘The Secret Life of Pets 2’ is scheduled to arrive in theaters everywhere on June 7, 2019 from Illumination Entertainment & Universal Pictures
