After much speculation and new deals having to be finalized, multiple sources have now confirmed that ABC has officially announced that the ‘Roseanne’ revival spinoff series which is tentatively titled ‘The Conners’ has been picked up for a 10-episode order and will have no creative or financial involvement by Roseanne Barr. It’s also been confirmed that the rebooted revival will be filling the vacant slot left on ABC’s Tuesday night lineup this fall following their sudden cancellation of ‘Roseanne’ after her offensive tweets.

Many specific details such as how Roseanne’s character will be written off the series have yet to be specified, although the remainder of the Conner characters portrayed by John Goodman, Sara Gilbert, Laurie Metcalf, Lecy Goranson and Michael Fishman will be returning. More news to come, but one thing is certain; most of the Conner family will be back this fall on ABC.
