It looks like the Gallagher family won’t be going anywhere soon as Showtime has officially renwed its longest running series ‘Shameless’ for a ninth season following the season eight debut last Sunday.

The season eight debut of ‘Shameless’ pulled in some of the highest numbers for the series in four years which explains the quick renewal from Showtime this year.
