In more official news regarding the sequel to this years ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ it has now been officially announced that Dane DeHaan has landed the role of Harry Osborn.  Continue on after the jump for more.

Dane DeHaan is not what many would consider a well known actor at this point, but he is definitely starting to make his way up the ranks.  He is probably best recognized for his portrayal of Andrew in the surprisingly great ‘Chronicle’ and you may have also seen him as a guest star in a few episodes of ‘True Blood’ as well as ‘Jack & Diane’ though that one I didn’t see.

In an official announcement via Marc Webb’s twitter page   it was officially announced today that DeHaan has been officially cast in the role of Harry Osborn in the sequel to this years Spidey reboot  ‘The Amazing Spider-Man.’

‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ is currently slated to be released May 2, 2014 from Sony.
