A new video teaser has been released for Stephen King’s upcoming novel ‘Doctor Sleep’ which serves as a sequel to his classic masterpiece ‘The Shining.’ ‘Doctor Sleep’ will hit stores on September 24 and I don’t know about you, but personally I am quite excited for this one. The series from King/Spielberg, based on the best selling novel by Stephen King has been picked up by CBS for an initial 13 episode season. While I’m happy to see this series finally get moving, I have to admit that as a huge fan of the book (one of my favorite King novels in fact) that I’m quite disappointed by the fact it will not be airing on Showtime as originally planned. This book was quite disturbing and uncompromisingly brutal and I’m honestly not sure how well this is going to work on network TV, but I guess we shall see.
