Star Trek: Strange New Worlds – Season 3; Arrives On 4K UHD Steelbook, Blu-ray & DVD March 3 & Now On Digital From Paramount

The third season is now available on Digital and will be available to own on 4K Ultra HD Steelbook, Blu-ray and DVD beginning March 3, 2026. Paramount Home Entertainment and CBS DVD have officially announced and detailed their releases for ‘Star Trek: Section 31’ starring Michelle Yeoh. The Paramount+ film will arrive home on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and Digital beginning April 29, 2025. A Limited Edition 4K UHD Steelbook release will also be available. 
Paramount Home Entertainment has officially announced their physical releases for The fifth and final season and the Complete Series of ‘Star Trek: Lower Decks’. ‘Star Trek: Lower Decks – The Final Season’ will be available to own on Blu-ray and DVD beginning March 25, 2025, in addition to a Limited Edition Steelbook release of ‘Star Trek: Lower Decks – The Complete Series’ on Blu-ray which will be available on the same date. 
Paramount+ revealed details on the new original movie ‘Star Trek: Section 31’ today at San Diego Comic-Con which will feature Michelle Yeoh reprising her fan-favorite role as Emperor Philippa Georgiou and is expected to debut in early 2025.

Paramount Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed their 4K Ultra HD releases of the ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ films. ‘Star Trek: Generations’, ‘Star Trek: First Contact’, Star Trek: Insurrection’ and ‘Star Trek: Nemesis’ will all arrive home on 4K Ultra HD with Dolby Vision and HDR-10 as well as Dolby TrueHD 7.1 soundtracks on April 4, 2023. All 4 films will be available to own in both a ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation – 4-Movie Collection’ box set and individually. Paramount Home Entertainment has officially announced that they will release ‘Star Trek: The Motion Picture – The Director’s Edition’, as well as a Limited Edition Box Set of the film, plus individual releases of all 6 Original Star Trek films and a ‘Star Trek: The Original Motion Picture 6-movie Collection’ set, each of which will be available to own on 4K Ultra HD on September 6, 2022. Paramount has revealed that a fully restored version of the ‘Star Trek: The Motion Picture’ Director’s Edition will be debuting on Paramount+ on April 5, 2022, in addition to seeing a 2-day theatrical release in May and a new 4K Ultra HD release set to arrive in September. Some fantastic news today for fans of the ‘Star Trek’ Universe of shows on Paramount+ as the streaming service has officially renewed ‘Star Trek: Discovery’, ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ and ‘Star Trek: Lower Decks’ for additional seasons, while also revealing premiere dates for multiple ‘Star Trek’ series on top of it. Welcome back to the latest edition of our weekly ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20 List’ posts where we keep you informed on the most popular movies and television shows watched at home every week; always compiled and released by the Digital Entertainment Group. This week’s new ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20 List’ for October 15, 2020 yet again sees the Jessica Chastain led action film ‘Ava’ holding securely to the top spot, while the Disney Halloween favorite ‘Hocus Pocus’ jumps into second place and knocks back last week’s second place ‘The Secret: Dare to Dream’ to fifth. Meanwhile, season’s 3 and 1 of ‘Yellowstone’ sit at third and fourth while season 2 holds its spot at sixth. Some other noteworthy new titles appear on the list this week, including Season 1 of ‘Star Trek: Picard’ which debuts in seventh and the 2018 ‘Halloween’ film directed by David Gordon Green makes an appearance in nineteenth place. CBS All Access appears to have high hopes for their upcoming ‘Star Trek’ series ‘Star Trek: Picard’ as they have now officially renewed the series for a second season, over a month ahead of its debut. 
After debuting at the NYCC 2019 panel today, CBS All Access has now released online a couple of brand new ‘Star Trek’ trailers including a Teaser Trailer for ‘Star Trek: Discovery – Season 3’, along with a new ‘Star Trek: Picard’ trailer that comes with an official January premiere date for the new series.
