Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and DreamWorks have announced new 4K releases for ‘Shrek’ in celebration if its 25th Anniversary. The original animated classic will be available to own newly remastered on November 3, 2026 with Dolby Vision and Atmos. It will be available in a standard 4K Ultra HD release, along with a Limited Edition 4K UHD Steelbook and on Digital. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed their upcoming 20th Anniversary releases for the DreamWorks Animation classic ‘Shrek’. The film will make its 4K debut in a 20th Anniversary Edition available on May 11, 2021, and the Anniversary release will also be available on Blu-ray and DVD.
