Paramount Home Entertainment has now officially announced and detailed their 4K Ultra HD debuts of three popular films starring Tom Cruise. ‘Top Gun’, ‘Days of Thunder’ and ‘War of the Worlds’ will all be available to own on 4K Ultra HD on May 19, 2020, and on Digital 4K May 13 (Top Gun Day). Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed their physical releases of the comic-book based sci-fi action movie ‘Bloodshot’ starring Vin Diesel. The film is currently available on Digital and will arrive on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD next week on May 5, 2020. Home Entertainment has sent over a press release and artwork for ‘The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part’, officially announcing and detailing their home entertainment releases of the animated sequel. The film will arrive home early on Digital beginning April 16 and will be followed by the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD releases on May 7, 2019. Lionsgate Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed their home entertainment releases of the Action Thriller ‘Cold Pursuit’ starring Liam Neeson. The film will be available to own early on Digital beginning May 3 and followed by the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD releases on May 14, 2019. Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed their home entertainment releases of ‘Red Sparrow’ starring Jennifer Lawrence. The film will arrive home on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD May 22, 2018. Paramount Home Media Distribution has sent over a press release officially announcing and detailing their home entertainment releases of the Alex Garland directed ‘Annihilation’ which stars Natalie Portman and Oscar Isaac. The film will be available to own early on Digital beginning May 22 and will be followed by the Blu-ray and DVD releases on May 29, 2018. While the press release doesn’t mention a 4K release, we’ve received confirmation from the studio that the film will additionally be available to own on 4K Ultra HD although the UHD release will be a Best Buy exclusive. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed their home entertainment releases of ‘Fifty Shades Freed’. The final chapter in the franchise will arrive home early on Digital April 24, followed by the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD releases on May 8, 2018 and will feature both the Theatrical Cut and an Unrated Version which runs approximately five minutes longer.
