The DEG Watched at Home Top 20 list for June 18, 2020 sees ‘The Hunt’ arrive on the list near the top, all the way at third place. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed their new installment in the ‘Deep Blue Sea’ film series. ‘Deep Blue Sea 3’ will arrive home early on Digital July 28, followed by the Blu-ray and DVD releases on August 25, 2020. Similar to box-office reports for theatrical runs each week, the Digital Entertainment Group is now releasing a weekly list compiling that week’s Watched At Home Top 20 which breaks down the twenty most popular releases watched at home this week. This week’s Top 20 list for the week of April 23, 2020 features ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ still dominating, while ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’, ‘The Gentlemen’ and the ‘Harry Potter 8-film Collection’ all made it into the top slots as well. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, LEGO and DC Entertainment have officially announced and detailed their releases of a new LEGO DC animated film featuring Shazam. ‘LEGO DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters’ will arrive home early on Digital beginning April 28 and will be followed by the Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD releases on June 16, 2020. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed their home entertainment releases of Blumhouse’s ‘Fantasy Island’ film which will arrive home with a new Unrated version. The film will arrive home early on Digital beginning April 14, followed by the Blu-ray and DVD releases on May 12, 2020. Following the pattern of many other studios making similar decisions in this troubled time, Warner Bros. has now revealed that they will make the sports drama ‘The Way Back’ starring Ben Affleck available early on Digital beginning next week.
