We have some fantastic news for diehard fans of Batman: The Animated Series who haven’t yet had a chance to order their copy of the upcoming Limited Edition Blu-ray box set. As many may have noticed, Amazon, Best, Buy and other retails stopped taking orders for the release recently and it appears it was due to the overwhelming demand for the set which had already reached its limited count of 30,000 units. In order to accommodate the overwhelming demand for the this highly anticipated release, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has now announced that they have more than doubled the initial number of copies, expanding the run to 70,000 units. Following their inital announcement during this year’s Comic-Con, Warner Bros. The series will be available to own at last on Blu-ray in a Deluxe Limited Edition Box Set (as well as via Digital) that will be limited to 30,000 numbered copies and available beginning October 16, 2018. We have some slightly belated updates from the Warner Bros Panel of Saturday’s Comic-Con excitement. Following their SDCC announcements, Warner Bros. released online a new Comic-Con Trailer for ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’, in addition to the debut trailers for ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ and DC’s ‘Aquaman’ and ‘Shazam’ films. DC has revealed via San Diego Comic-Con the first trailer for the highly anticipated third season of ‘Young Justice’ which will be titled ‘Young Justice Outsiders’ and features five minutes of footage from the cartoon’s return.
