As we all know, the follow up to the Robert Rodgriguez film ‘Machete’ properly titled ‘Machete Kills’ has been in production for some time now and we have been treated to a few images from the film (see left) as well as the full cast list. We can naturally expect Danny Trejo to be fantastic as always in his reprisal of his first ever lead role in a film. We can also count on seeing Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson, Alexa Vega (left again) as well as many others to appear in the film. Word is it is set to be a trilogy as well as originally teased in the fake trailer that started it all. Well the film has wrapped, and Open Road Films has issued a press release announcing they will be releasing ‘Machete Kills’ on September 13.
