As watching movies at home continues to be the current standard with theaters still shuttered across the country, we’re back with another new Watched at Home Top 20 List from the Digital Entertainment Group; offering a box-office numbers-like list each week showcasing the most watched movies at home for the week. This week’s new Top 20 List for April 30, 2020 sees ‘Bad Boys For Life’ taking over the number one spot from ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’, while ‘The Gentlemen’ moves up to number 3 from last week’s number 7 slot, and more. Paramount Home Entertainment has now officially announced and detailed their 4K Ultra HD debuts of three popular films starring Tom Cruise. ‘Top Gun’, ‘Days of Thunder’ and ‘War of the Worlds’ will all be available to own on 4K Ultra HD on May 19, 2020, and on Digital 4K May 13 (Top Gun Day). Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed their physical releases of the comic-book based sci-fi action movie ‘Bloodshot’ starring Vin Diesel. The film is currently available on Digital and will arrive on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD next week on May 5, 2020. In this uncertain time, going out to the movies has been at least temporarily replaced by movie night at home. Similar to box-office reports for theatrical runs each week, the Digital Entertainment Group is now releasing a weekly list compiling that week’s Watched At Home Top 20 which breaks down the twenty most popular releases watched at home this week. Paramount Home Entertainment has sent over some updates on upcoming physical releases, including new release dates for the ‘Braveheart’ and ‘Gladiator’ 4K Ultra HD Steelbooks and the ‘Friday The 13th’ Blu-ray Steelbook, in addition to confirming release dates and information for ‘Flashdance’, the next Paramount Presents Blu-ray release, and ‘South Park: The Complete Twenty-Third Season’ on Blu-ray and DVD. Some huge news today from Warner Bros. who has decided to skip the intended theatrical release of their upcoming animated ‘Scooby-Doo’ feature film ‘Scoob!’ and instead make the film available on Digital and video on demand platforms next month.

The new adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic directed by Autumn de Wilde and starring Anya Taylor-Joy will arrive home early on Digital May 5, followed by the Blu-ray and DVD releases on May 19, 2020.
