Disney has revealed that they will release their 1951 animated classic ‘Alice in Wonderland’ in 4K in celebration of its 75th Anniversary. The film will arrive home on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc and Digital on May 5, 2026, meticulously remastered and restored in 4K. The Warner Archive Collection has revealed their full lineup of Blu-ray releases for May 2026. 8 new Blu-ray releases will be available in May including ‘Looney Tunes Cartoons: The Complete Series’ on May 19, 2026, while the other 7 including ‘Possessed’, ‘7 Faces of Dr. Lao’ and more will be available on May 26. Vertigo sub-label Visions Home Video has sent over details for their UK releases of James Gunn’s ‘Slither’ in celebration of its 20th Anniversary. The film will arrive home in a 4K Ultra HD Steelbook and Blu-ray release on May 18, 2026, following a Digital release on May 1 and a limited theatrical re-release starting April 10. 20th Century Studios has announced that they will release the horror-thriller ‘Psycho Killer’ at home on Digital April 7, 2026. No physical release for the film has been set and if that should change we’ll be certain to inform you right away, although with Disney’s release pattern of minimal physical releases and skipping under-performing titles it’s highly likely that the film will not be made available in a physical media release on 4K UHD, Blu-ray or DVD, similar to their release pattern for 2022’s ‘Barbarian’ which is still unavailable in any physical capacity, even more so considering the extremely minimal advertising and box office numbers for this one. Lionsgate has announced that they will release ‘Scream 4’ in 4K Ultra HD this June, finally offering fans the opportunity to complete their franchise collections in UHD.
