Lionsgate has officially announced and detailed their 4K UHD Steelbook release of ‘Kickboxer’ starring Jean-Claude Van Damme in celebration of the film’s 35th Anniversary. Real life kick boxing champion Dennis Alexio, and Jean-Claude Van Damme join forces to battle their enemies on the big screen when Kickboxer arrives December 3^rd on Steelbook^® at WalMart from Lionsgate. Follow Kurt Sloane as he avenges his brother by learning the ancient kick boxing art of Muay Thai and challenges Thai champion Tong Po. Kickboxer will be available for the first time in 4K for its 35^th anniversary and will only be available at WalMart on Steelbook® for the suggested retail price of $34.99. The release will include exclusive art and new special features, including an international version of the film.

 

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

Accompanied by his brother Kurt, American kickboxing champion Eric Sloane arrives in Thailand to defeat the Eastern warriors at their own sport. His opponent: ruthless fighter and Thai champion Tong Po. Tong not only defeats Eric, he paralyzes him for life. Crazed with anger, Kurt vows revenge. After a crash course in the ancient techniques of kickboxing from Thai master Xian Chow, Kurt challenges Tong. Their battle to the finish, born of lust, power, and revenge, will leave only one man standing.
