Welcome back to another new edition of our weekly ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20 List’ posts (and the second one this week as the lists catch up to the delays resulting from the Holidays) where we continue to keep you updated with all of the most popular movies and television shows watched at home every week, always compiled and released by the Digital Entertainment Group.
The new ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20’ list for January 6, 2022 (compiled of data for the week ended 1.1.22) finds the top two titles from last time swapping spots as the final Daniel Craig Bond film ‘No Time To Die‘ moves up into first and ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage‘ drops one spot into second. ‘Yellowstone: Season 4’ also jumps back up from ninth last time to third this time around, followed by ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ up two places in fourth and the Ridley Scott directed ‘The Last Duel’ landing in fifth to round out the top five. Continue below to check out the full news release with the new ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20’ list and then sound off in the comments to let us know what you’ve been watching!
‘No Time to Die’ at No. 1;
Spider-Man’s Web Grows
No Time to Die continued its ascent, capturing the top spot this week. Meanwhile, Spider-Man spread across the chart, continuing to be propelled by excitement for theatrical release Spider-Man: No Way Home. Five Spidey titles claimed spots on the chart this week, up from three last week. Meanwhile, with the holiday-themed titles that represented half of the Top 20 titles falling off the chart this week, all four seasons of Yellowstone climbed back up the chart and there were three new entries: Sing, which has sequel Sing 2 in theaters now, The French Dispatch and True to the Game 3.
DEG compiles the ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list with the most widely consumed titles on disc and digital during the previous week (except for outside subscription-based streaming platforms). Assembled with the newest studio and retailer data every seven days, it showcases current consumer enthusiasm for home viewing of the newest film and television releases.
