The sixth season of ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ finds the legendary team of heroes aboard the Waverider dealing with a foe unlike anything they’ve encountered prior… aliens from outer space! The season picks up following season five’s conclusion as Sara is abducted by aliens only to uncover a revelation she never saw coming, but one she’ll be forced to accept if she hopes to ever escape from her alien captors whose motives remain uncertain. Meanwhile, the rest of the team struggles with the absence of their captain while trying to track down any leads to her whereabouts and at the same time attempting to handle the various time threats they still have to correct.

[Blu-Ray Review] ‘DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow: The Complete Sixth Season’; Now Available On Blu-ray & DVD From DC – Warner Bros 1

The latest season of ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ delivers another massively enjoyable, action-packed and frequently hilarious batch of episodes through various times and even worlds as our heroes take on an uncertain threat in the form of aliens, something they never expected to encounter even with all that they’ve seen prior. The sixth season also delves deeper into some other ongoing storylines set up in previous seasons such as the mayhem caused by the Totem where the original Zari now resides, and the relationship between the new Zari (or Zari 2.0) and her previously deceased brother Behrad as well as the awkward interactions between her and Nate as a result of his relationship with the other version of her. It also dives further into Constantine’s loss of his talents and sees a glimmer of hope as he searches high and low for any possible way to reclaim them. The alien storyline does make for some clever twists, reveals and other somewhat shocking moments fans probably weren’t expecting and certainly won’t want to miss out on if you’ve fallen behind the series. ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ manages to remain one of the more entertaining, goofy and just downright fun shows in the CW’s lineup of DC Comics series and the sixth season is certainly no exception in that right, providing no shortage of wild, over the top fun and action, plus plenty of heart and humor along the way to nicely balance it all out.
