Some great news today for fans of the sci-fi series ‘The Expanse’ as Amazon has officially granted the series an early renewal for a sixth and final season ahead of the season 5 debut.

The early renewal for a sixth and final season was first reported by Deadline and comes just ahead of the show’s fifth season debut.

The news on the renewal also comes with confirmation that series regular Cas Anvar will not be returning for the sixth season after being faced with a number of sexual misconduct allegations this summer.
