Less than a week after the second season’s long awaited (and highly anticipated) debut, Starz has now officially announced that ‘American Gods’ has been renewed for a third season on the premium network.

The news of the renewal also comes with word that Charles “Chic” Eglee will take the reigns as the new showrunner for season three. The confirmation from Starz should come as a great relief for fans that might have been fearing the worst after the complications the show experienced prior to season two. But it’s clear that Starz definitely still appears to be invested in this unique series based on Neil Gaiman’s novel.
