USA Network has announced that their event series for ‘The Purge’ franchise won’t be calling it quits after tonight’s finale as USA has officially renewed the show for a second season.

The renewal doesn’t come as a huge surprise following the steady ratings the series has pulled each week, and the news comes just prior to the conclusion of season one which airs tonight.
