Welcome back to our somewhat irregular TV News update post where we fill you in on some of the recent renewals and cancellations that have been officially announced. This time we have some news from the Network, Premium and standard Cable fronts. Fox has officially renewed returning comedy series ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ and ‘The Last Man On Earth’ for the 2016-17 TV season, while FXX has renewed ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ for a thirteenth and fourteenth season; Amazon has renewed ‘Bosch’ for Season 3, and Comedy Central has also renewed four shows including ‘Tosh.0’, ‘Drunk History’ and more. ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ & ‘The Last Man On Earth’ Renewed By Fox:

Fox has officially renewed two of its returning comedy series for the upcoming 2016-17 TV season. ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ which stars Andy Samberg and Terry Crews among others and follows the goofy characters and occurrences within the ninety ninth Brooklyn police precinct has been renewed for a fourth season. The third season is currently airing in its latest slot on the schedule Tuesday’s at 9:PM on Fox. The network has also renewed ‘The Last Man On Earth’ which stars Will Forte which has been renewed for a third season. The sophomore season recently resumed its run and is airing Sunday’s at 9:30 pm.

‘Togetherness’ Cancelled After 2 Seasons By HBO:

A series I admit I haven’t yet had the pleasure of, the HBO Original ‘Togetherness’ which was created by  Jay Duplass, Mark Duplass and Steve Zissis and stars  Mark Duplass, Melanie Lynskey and Amanda Peet has been officially cancelled by Home Box Office and will end after its second season. The second season of ‘Togetherness’ is currently still airing Sunday’s at 10:30pm on HBO.

‘Tosh.0’, ‘Drunk History’, ‘Review’ & ‘This Is Not Happening’ Renewed & ‘Not Safe’ Season Order Doubled By Comedy Central:

Comedy Central has also officially renewed four shows for additional seasons: ‘Tosh.0’ has been renewed for a ninth season, while ‘Drunk History’ has been renewed for a fourth season, ‘This Is Not Happening’ for a third season and ‘Review’ for a third and apparently final season. Comedy Central has additionally doubled the first season episode order of ‘Not Safe’ bumping it from ten to twenty episodes.

‘Bosch’ Renewed For Season 3 By Amazon:

Amazon has officially renewed their original series ‘Bosch’ for a third season. The series is based upon the novels by Michael Connelly and stars Titus Welliver in the title role. The second season of ‘Bosch’ was just released on Amazon Prime in March.

‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ Renewed For Season 13 & 14 By FXX:

After recently wrapping Season 11 on FXX and already renewed for a twelfth season, FXX has now officially renewed the series for a thirteenth and fourteenth season as well. I hope the fellow fans are ready for at least three more years with our favorite bar owners, because I know I certainly am.
