  1. For thirty years, NBC Thursday night was my go-to spot for hilarious sitcoms. Seinfeld, Cheers, Frasier, etc… they all brought the chuckles, and they brought them big time. In the past ten years, the foursome of The Office, Community, Parks and Recreation, and 30 Rock were a smart, witty, innovative, and lovable group. Now with all four shows gone, we’re lucky to have the movie Sisters here to bring us Leslie Knope and Liz Lemon (well, kinda) together to scratch that funny bone itch the absence of those shows has left. Poehler and Fey? That Blu-ray would be a Thursday night reunion I’d love to have in my collection!

And my favorite actress in the film is Amy Poehler. My reason? As Leslie Knope, she spent a lot of time around Ron Swanson- she must have picked up some amazing recipes, all featuring tons of steak and sizzling bacon!
