Synopsis:
A couple summers ago in a galaxy far, far away, Phineas and Ferb are happily basking in the glow of Tatooine’s twin suns – until plans for the Death Star accidentally fall into their hands, thrusting them (and Agent P) into a galactic rebellion and an epic struggle of good versus evil in Phineas And Ferb: Star Wars.
Will Phineas and Ferb be able to resist the Dark Side? Will Stormtrooper Candace finally bust a Rebel? Can Agent P stop Darthenshmirtz from using his Force-powered “Sith-Inator”?

Get ready for some out of this galaxy fun, excitement and laughs that the entire family is sure to enjoy. None other than Phineas & Ferb put their own twist on ‘Star Wars IV: A New Hope’ as only they can do in the newly warped good time ‘A New Hope – Retold and ReFERBished!’ These two are happily enjoying themselves basking in the sun and relaxing quiet of Tatooine with no intention of getting into any excitement or shenanigans whatsoever. Naturally, this falls apart quickly when a chain reaction of events pulls them into a full out epic adventure spanning the layers of the galaxy and afterwards, things will surely never be the same; or will they?
Phineas and Ferb fans will definitely want to make sure to pick up a copy of the ‘Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars ‘ DVD as soon as they have the opportunity to do so. The DVD includes the fifty minute title special ‘A New Hope – Retold and ReFERBished!’ in addition to five more full length episodes to keep the young ones (and older fans of the series too of course) busy for a good while after. This rehash from Phineas and Ferb of the original Star Wars delivers fun, excitement and some new songs the kids are sure to enjoy. It also provides enough fun and hilarious references to the film for the older audience to have just as much fun as the younger audience. I would definitely recommend all Star Wars & Phineas and Ferb fans give this one a whirl as it’s really a lot of fun for all ages.
VIDEO:
The DVD release of ‘Phineas And Ferb: Star Wars’ (and other included episodes) features a 16×9 presentation utilizing the show’s original 1.78:1 Aspect Ratio. The video presentation looks pretty great for a DVD release and even when viewing on an HDTV only very minor artifacts are noticeable. The colors are bright, sharp and everything looks pretty solid overall, with no noticeable faults to be found within on my end. Most should be very pleased with the DVD video presentation on this one.
AUDIO:
The DVD release features a lossy 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo soundtrack on the main feature and other included episodes. The lossy stereo soundtrack sounds quite impressive, and as its set to immediately utilize the Dolby Pro-Logic option on the receiver, it does a pretty great job of implementing a surround element out of this stereo soundtrack. Most should be quite pleased with this 2.0 Dolby Digital track and should have a lot of fun with it as I myself did.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
The DVD release of ‘Phineas And Ferb: Star Wars’ only includes special features in the form of additional episodes. Aside from the Star Wars feature, five additional 30 minute episodes of ‘Phineas and Ferb’ are also included on the release. The five additional included episodes are as follows:
